Your answers make a practical difference
“Take a break” leaves a lot to work out.
Where could you rest? Would sitting help? Could you leave without everyone else? The Kit turns distinctions like these into arrangements to consider and questions to check.
- Sitting and standing are difficult. You need to recline.
- The options include checking a suitable reclining space, when you can use it and whether you can leave and re-enter the activity.
- You can feel much worse later or the next day.
- The plan brings later commitments into view, including what can move and who could cover essential responsibilities afterwards.
- You need to leave independently, but feel pressure to stay.
- The Kit brings together a discreet agreement with companions and a return you can arrange without waiting for the group.
What about cost, assistance and uncertain answers?
- Extra spending is difficult.
- Suggestions start with changes such as removing an optional stop, adjusting timing or checking included help. Any remaining essential cost stays a question to resolve.
- Assistance has been agreed.
- The Kit still asks which tasks and times are covered, who will help and what happens if that help is unavailable.
- You do not know yet.
- Unknowns stay open. Relevant follow-up questions can refine the options; an essential arrangement stays conditional until you record a sourced confirmation.
Illustrations of the Kit’s planning rules, not customer results or personalised advice. More than one need can apply. You can inspect the reasons, correct an answer, edit a suggestion or leave the decision open.
From an idea to something usable
Start with what you want to be part of.
A visit, a family event, a day out or a trip already booked. You can begin before choosing a destination or dates.
Tell the Kit what matters and what makes it difficult
Start with a purpose and the closest kind of experience. Add relevant needs, recovery, support or spending limits. Optional detail can wait; you do not need a diagnosis or medical records.
Compare the arrangements, with the reasons visible
See what each option changes, why it appeared and what needs checking. The Kit gives essential requirements priority. Choose a working version, edit it or write your own.
Keep the next step and another option ready
Record questions, answers and practical details from getting there to getting home and recovering afterwards. Keep an alternative and update the plan as circumstances change.
Rehearse a possibility
Work through a change before you need to respond.
Try a later arrival, an unavailable rest space, missing help, a failed return arrangement or needing longer afterwards.
For example: the rest space you were relying on is unavailable.
- See which parts of the plan depend on it.
- Compare possible responses alongside your recorded needs.
- Keep an approved question or a conditional response to review if needed.
Your working plan stays unchanged during practice. You can pause, try another response or finish without saving. This helps you prepare decisions; it does not predict symptoms or guarantee that an alternative is available.
If something has already happened, use the separate change-plan flow to review and approve an actual update.
What your purchase gives you
Work you can keep using.
A connected set of tools for deciding, preparing, responding and returning to what you have learned.
A working version and an alternative
Keep what you chose, why another option may help and what would prompt you to switch. Revisit earlier choices as the plan develops.
A list of checks that matters to this plan
Record the question, responsible person, answer and date. Relevant changes flag earlier confirmations for review.
A Trip Snapshot to take with you
Keep your sequence, decisions, practical arrangements and unresolved checks together. Copy, print or save a readable offline version.
Only the details you choose to share
Select what a companion or provider needs, preview the text and decide where to send it. Your private backup remains separate.
Personal settings you can reuse
Choose to remember body and recovery settings as a starting point. Adjust them for a particular experience without changing your other plans.
Lessons you reconsider next time
Record what helped and what happened afterwards. Before a saved lesson influences another plan, decide whether it still applies and what to do differently.

WHAT MATTERS TO ME Be at my sister’s ceremony MY WORKING VERSION Attend the ceremony; make dinner optional. Check a suitable place to recline and a return I can arrange independently. Chosen by me; arrangements still need their own checks.
The complete Snapshot also includes recorded checks and other saved details. It is a static copy: save a new one after changing your plan.
Founded by a pain specialist
Built around the details that matter to you.
Dr Timothy Murithi Mwiti founded TBL to help people work through travel with pain or fatigue. The Kit considers details that can change a plan: whether a chair meets your needs, whether a suitable rest space is actually available, and how you would get home if you needed to leave.
Is it worth paying for in your situation?
Useful when several decisions need to work together.
The Kit is a useful fit when…
- You want to take part, but timing, physical needs, recovery, other people or cost interact.
- You want a working plan, an alternative and questions to resolve in one place.
- You are willing to review suggestions and confirm arrangements with the people responsible.
Another route may be enough when…
- You only need a first indication of what deserves attention. Start with the free Mini-Check.
- A simple list already covers what you need. Keep using what works for you.
- You need someone to make an individual medical assessment or organise bookings. Those services are not included.
Before you decide
Practical questions, answered.
Know what buying and using the Kit involves. If you need clarification, ask about the Kit.
What exactly do I get for US$69?
Account access to the self-guided Kit: personal planning tools, working and alternative versions, checks and arrangements, optional rehearsal, a Trip Snapshot, selective sharing, backups and notes for future experiences.
It is one payment, with no subscription, for your own use across future experiences. An individual review by Dr Mwiti or another clinician is not included.
What if I have several conditions or do not know my limits?
You can select several difficulties and leave uncertain answers open. The Kit works with what you report about positions, movement, surroundings, recovery and practical circumstances. You do not need to fit a single diagnosis or know a precise limit.
It explains which answers led to suggestions. It does not diagnose a pain type, calculate what you can safely do or predict recovery. If you report a new or concerning change, it directs you towards appropriate medical advice before routine planning.
Do I need a trip booked or a long questionnaire completed?
No. Begin with something you want to be part of and the closest kind of experience. A destination and dates can wait. Add optional details when they could change an arrangement; you can return to them later.
If you have already booked, focus on what can still change and what needs checking. You can edit a suggestion, write your own version or decide not to proceed.
Can I stop and come back later?
Ordinary planning answers save as drafts after you pause typing. Wait for the save message, then use the form’s save button when you want those answers included in the plan and Snapshot.
Rehearsal is different: it is temporary. You can pause within the open session, but leaving or reloading ends it. Only a question or response you explicitly save becomes part of your records.
Return in the same browser and device, and keep a downloaded backup.
Could I use a notebook, AI or the free tools instead?
Yes. They may be enough for your situation. The paid Kit is useful when you want your answers, practical options, checks, alternatives and exports kept together as circumstances change.
You can trace suggestions to recorded answers, rehearse a disruption separately from your working plan and review whether a previous lesson still applies. Decide whether that ongoing structure is worth the price to you.
How do accounts, devices and offline use work?
Your account gives access to the purchased Kit. Your trip work is stored separately in the browser you use; signing in elsewhere does not automatically move it. Download a backup and import it to move editable work.
A fresh visit to the website needs internet. Save or print a readable Trip Snapshot for offline use, and refresh that copy after changes. Clearing browser data or using private browsing can remove saved work.
Who can see what I enter?
Trip work is kept in your browser. Someone using that browser may see it, and signing out does not erase it. Browser storage is not an encrypted medical record.
The standard Snapshot leaves out your private clinical-context notes and rehearsal debrief, but practical plan details can still reveal personal needs. Preview anything you share. Backups contain more information and should be kept private.
Account, payment, contact and website analytics information are handled separately. Read the privacy policy.
What if the Kit is not right for me?
The Kit is generally non-refundable once digital access is provided. Mandatory consumer rights still apply, and duplicate or incorrect charges and access failures may require correction. Read the purchase terms before paying.
If you are unsure what is included, ask about the product before purchasing.
I have already paid. How do I get back in?
Log in with the account used to purchase, then open the Travel Again Starter Kit from your account. If access is missing, contact TBL before buying again.
If the Kit opens but your work is missing, check the browser and device, or import your backup.
Clear boundaries
Support for your choices and arrangements.
The Kit does not provide diagnosis, treatment, medication advice, medical clearance or emergency care. It does not make bookings or provide legal or insurance advice.
It cannot guarantee accessibility, fewer symptoms or that a trip will be possible. Check provider arrangements with the people responsible and medical questions with your clinician.
