TBL is designed to support clearer travel planning for people with chronic pain, fatigue, migraine, mobility limits, sensory sensitivity, and other flare-prone conditions. It does not replace medical care, official travel guidance, insurance advice, or direct confirmation from travel providers.

Urgent symptoms: If symptoms are new, severe, worsening, or worrying, seek medical care. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, use local emergency services. TBL is not designed for urgent or emergency situations.

1) What TBL Can Help With

TBL provides educational travel-planning tools, checklists, guides, and decision support for people whose symptoms can make travel harder to plan.

TBL may help you think through pacing, trip load, rest needs, accessibility questions, flare planning, destination fit, and what to confirm before you commit money, time, energy, or hope to a trip.

TBL is a planning aid. It does not decide whether travel is medically safe for you.

2) Not a Medical Device or Medical Service

TBL content and tools are for informational and educational planning purposes only.

TBL is not a medical device, medical service, clinic, telemedicine service, or emergency service.

TBL does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, medication advice, medication changes, clinical monitoring, medical clearance for travel, or individual medical instructions.

Using TBL does not create a doctor-patient relationship with TBL, its founder, contributors, employees, contractors, or affiliates.

Best use: use TBL to prepare better questions, compare travel demands, and plan practical safeguards. For medical decisions, speak with your licensed healthcare provider, especially if you have new or worsening symptoms, unstable health, recent procedures, pregnancy, complex medication needs, or concerns about whether travel is appropriate.

3) Not a Travel Agency, Tour Operator, or Insurance Provider

TBL does not book flights, accommodation, transport, tours, appointments, or travel services. TBL does not act as a travel agent, tour operator, insurer, broker, legal advisor, or financial advisor.

Any destination, route, venue, accommodation, airline, provider, or service reference is provided for planning context only. It is not an endorsement, guarantee, booking service, insurance recommendation, or legal recommendation.

4) Your Responsibilities

You remain responsible for checking whether a trip, route, service, activity, or destination is suitable for your own circumstances.

You are responsible for:

  • Official travel advisories and current health requirements for your route and destination.
  • Medical advice, medical clearance, prescriptions, medication changes, and condition-specific precautions from your own healthcare provider.
  • Medication legality, medication storage rules, prescriptions, letters, and documentation for each country and transit point.
  • Travel insurance, medical insurance, cancellation cover, exclusions, emergency assistance, and policy wording.
  • Transport, accommodation, accessibility needs, mobility aids, assistance requests, and backup arrangements.
  • Deciding whether distances, climates, activities, terrain, crowds, noise, schedules, and pacing suggestions fit your body and capacity.
  • Confirming important details directly with airlines, hotels, venues, tour providers, insurers, official agencies, and local services before you rely on them.
Accessibility reality check: accessibility claims can be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. When possible, confirm step-free access, lifts, distances, bathroom access, seating, gradients, surface type, transport links, and assistance policies using current photos, measurements, and direct provider confirmation.

5) Travel Information Can Change

Travel conditions can change quickly. This includes weather, transport disruption, strikes, closures, entry rules, health requirements, safety advisories, accessibility arrangements, venue policies, and insurance terms.

TBL aims to provide careful and useful planning support, but we cannot guarantee that all information is current, complete, accurate, or suitable for your specific situation.

Always verify important travel decisions with official sources and the relevant service provider before booking, travelling, or making changes to your plans.

6) Limitation of Liability

Your use of TBL, including the website, tools, guides, checklists, emails, downloads, and any related content, is at your own risk.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, TBL, including its founders, employees, contractors, contributors, and affiliates, disclaims liability for loss, injury, damage, cost, disruption, missed travel, medical events, financial loss, or other consequences arising from use of the website, tools, content, or reliance on any information provided.

Nothing in this disclaimer is intended to exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
