Free Trip Load Scan · TBL Trip Fit Method

See what the whole experience may ask of you.

Look across the journey, movement, surroundings, timing, people, rest and recovery around a visit, day out or trip. The scan helps you see what stands out, what may be interacting and where one useful change could create more room.

The whole experience

Start with what makes it worth doing.

Then look across eight parts of the experience. Choose the description closest to the version you are relying on now. The result describes the experience, not your body, and there is no load score.

A person, occasion, place or experience is enough. If you are not sure yet, leave this blank.

Getting there and back

Think door to door: driving or sitting, transfers, waiting, luggage and the return journey.

Movement and access

Think about walking, standing, stairs, terrain, queues, luggage and movement between places.

Surroundings

Think about noise, crowds, light, temperature, motion and unfamiliar settings.

Timing and schedule

Think about early starts, late finishes, fixed times, back-to-back plans and how much breathing room exists.

Resting place and getting back

This may be home, someone else’s home, a hotel, cabin or another base. Think about whether you can rest there and how easy it is to get back.

People, expectations and coordination

Think about pace, hosting or caregiving roles, shared transport, other people’s expectations and whether changes need agreement.

Recovery and afterwards

Look before leaving, after arrival, between demanding periods, before returning and after you get home.

Flexibility and a smaller version

Think about whether you could pause, shorten, leave early, change timing, use another route or drop a lower-priority part.

Your answers stay in this browser on this device. If you later use the Starter Kit, a restricted draft containing only the experience name, dates, what matters, the smaller version and structured experience facts can be reviewed before import. Nothing is imported without confirmation.

After the scan

Do only the next thing that is useful.

If the decision brief gives you enough, stop there. If something specific remains unresolved, use the route in your result rather than automatically moving to a bigger product.
