Common Questions about Ticked Bucket List
Answers for planning, pacing, and safe exploration.
The Basics
What is Ticked Bucket List (TBL)?
Ticked Bucket List is a clinician-run travel support service designed specifically for people living with chronic pain and fatigue. We provide the tools and medical-grade logic to help you predict flare risks and build pacing-aware itineraries so more of your trips become kept trips.
Is Ticked Bucket List a travel agency?
No. We do not book flights or hotels. We provide the specialist planning layer that travel agencies lack: mapping the invisible load of travel (standing times, sensory triggers, pacing) against your body’s specific capacity.
Safety & Medical Authority
Who creates the advice and tools at TBL?
All tools are developed by Dr. Timothy Mwiti, a registered Pain Specialist and Consultant Anaesthesiologist. His background in aero-medical evacuation (flight medicine) informs our logic on how transit affects pain physiology.
Does TBL provide medical treatment or advice?
TBL provides educational support and planning tools. It is not a replacement for your primary medical team. Always consult your doctor for medical clearance, fitness to fly, and medication management.
How is my health data protected?
We are privacy-first. By default, your data stays on your local device. We do not sell health data, and any syncing within our member area is strictly opt-in and encrypted.
Tools & Pacing
What is a "Trip Fit Check"?
It is a structured assessment tool that stress-tests your itinerary. It identifies "pinch points"—like a 3-hour layover or a walking tour—and suggests buffers or low-load alternates before you book.
What does "pacing" mean in travel?
Pacing is the strategic management of energy. In travel, this means balancing "High-Load" days with "Cool-Down" windows to prevent the "boom-and-bust" cycle that leads to severe flare-ups.
Can TBL help with conditions like Fibromyalgia, POTS, or RA?
Yes. Our logic is built for symptom-based planning. Whether you deal with fatigue (POTS), joint load (RA), or sensory triggers (Migraine), our tools help you build a plan that respects those specific boundaries.
Logistics & Support
What is your refund policy?
Because our digital kits and "Starter Kit Plans" provide immediate access to proprietary clinical logic and templates, we generally do not offer refunds. We encourage you to try our free tools before upgrading.
How do I access my purchased tools?
Once purchased, you will create your login account. All your checklists, kits, and pacing helpers are stored there for lifetime access.
